Veterans Benefits

95ÐãÊÓƵ administers various types ofÌýveterans educational benefitsÌýto veterans and their dependents pursuing degree programs at UT. UT also has a VA-certifying official on-site.

Transfer Credit

UT has aÌýgenerous transfer credit policyÌýfor military students, including credit for prior military service, and correspondence and online courses. UT accepts transfer credits from institutions such as the American Military University and Central Texas College.

ROTC

UT hasÌýROTC programsÌýfor the Navy, Air Force and Army — one of the strongest in the nation. In fact, UT is the only non-military college with multiple Army ROTC Raytheon Award winners.

Veteran students are encouraged to meet with a professional in theÌýOffice of Career ServicesÌýto discuss how their unique experiences can best be translated in the choice of an academic major and/or career path.
